This Soda Pop Bottle Photo according to the engraving on the side of the bottle is from the Blomgren and Garrett Bottling Works that was located in Bucknell. The company was owned by Art Blomgren and his brother-in-law who was named Garrett. Carl Virgil Blomgren told me the company was located in what was know as Bucknell’s Bottom Camp. Bucknell was developed starting in 1914 when the Buxton coal fields were being closed and all the mayor coal mining was being moved 20 miles to the southwest of Buxton to the Consol coal fields and mines #18 and #19. The bottle is a Blomgren family heirloom in the possession of Art’s grandson, John Blomgren, who lives in the Oklahoma City area.
