The Charley Bloom home as it appeared in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s when it was owned by my grandparents, David and Emma (Nylander) Peterson. The tree at the rear of the property is where I built a tree house in 1949. It appears the tree house can be seen in this 1970 photo. The white slanting door behind the the house is to the fruit cellar/cave for storing canned food items from their garden. The corn crib and chicken coop can be seen to the rear of the property. Photo looking northwest from the K road (650th Avenue).
